Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Where and when?

The festival site will open at 4pm on Thursday 11th August and will close at 12pm on Monday 15th August.

The festival is located at Avalon Priory, Priory Road, Bridgwater, TA7 9DH.

Are children welcome?

This is a family friendly festival. All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult and children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Are pets welcome?

Unfortunately, as much as we love pets, only service animals will be allowed on site and those bringing them must have the correct credentials.

Will there be alcohol available?

ARCADIA is a sober festival, this means there will be no alcohol on site and we ask our visitors to respect this ethos by not bringing alcohol or illegal substances to the site.

Can I buy food at the festival?

Yes there will be a selection of food vendors available

Can I leave the festival site and return?

Yes, as long as you have your wrist band on you will be able to come and go.

Are there cash machines available on site?

No, you will need to bring cash with you, some vendors may have contactless available but it would be best to bring cash

Can I bring a live in vehicle?

Yes, unless it is a vehicle above 7.5 tonnes.

Can I have a fire at the festival?

Due to the fire regulations for the events, only open fires and BBQs approved by ARCADIA are allowed. In tented areas, we prefer that battery or solar charged lighting is used, and any cooking by camping gas is outside the tent, away from any flammable materials. Parents / caregivers are responsible for their children around all fires.

I am not a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, am I still welcome?

Yes, everyone is welcome to the event, but all guests must remember this event celebrates those from the LGBTQIA+ community and hate or discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated, any guests who do so will be removed from the festival.

Will there be any nudity?

There is a sauna area where nudity is permitted, this area is fenced off but, many people enjoy the freedom to be naked in a safe, mixed environment. If you, or your children, may find this difficult you may wish to reconsider booking tickets as nudity may be observed.

For those who are comfortable being fully naked, please offer consideration to those people that, given our culture, find nudity distracting, challenging or even threatening.

If your state of nudity is regarded as sexually inappropriate, the Event Manager may ask a person to cover themselves and if this request is not followed, the person may be asked to leave the site.

If you feel that you are on the receiving end of inappropriate sexual behaviour, please report it to the Info Point, who will notify the Safeguarding lead.

Will there be any restrictions due to COVID?

We can't know yet what, if any, restrictions will be in place in August 2022. We will always adhere to the latest guidance and get in touch if any changes come into play that seriously affect the festival. If we need to cancel or postpone, we may offer a refund or transfer to another event.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?

We do not offer refunds, should you change your mind or your circumstances change. You can sell or gift the ticket to someone else.

If we have to cancel the event, we will refund, minus the booking fees taken by the ticket vendor.
